So Macayle's dehydrated. I went to the hospital and visited with her for a little bit. For a two-year-old she's holding up pretty good. For a 30-year-old she's holding up pretty good. I talked to Misty for a little bit. They had a really hard time finding a vein for the IV to go in. Her fever had just broke when I got there, so she was still a little out of it, but then Ma started playing with her and was making her smile. That was good to see :)
It got me thinking, though. Am I dehydrated? I'm not talking about physically, but spiritually. I think I had been for a while. I just wasn't going to the Lord for my nourishment. Talk about a season. Anyway, God calls us to drink from the Living Water and we will never thirst again. That's pretty exciting. Just seeing today what dehydration can do to the body physically just makes me wonder how my spiritual body looked all shriveled up.
I say all this to say, though, that I walked out of church Sunday and felt like I had just had a big drink of that Living Water. Chet did an awesome job with the sermon that God had given him, and everything went right along with our Sunday School class. It's always so cool when you see God bring everything together.
Anyway, just thought I'd share! Hope you're all having a great day and I love you!
