GOD CARES!

I was driving along one day in the city where I work when I passed by a church. The sign out in front usually has some clever or catchy saying on it so I always make sure and read it. Today there were just two words on it, and out of all the times I’d read this sign, this time it had the most impact on me. All it said today was “God Cares.”

I started wondering how many people had driven by that church and then how many people had looked over and read those two words. God Cares. How many different people, each in different situations, had seen that sign? God Cares. We all have our own story that we get caught up in sometimes, but it’s all part of the bigger story that’s God’s plan. God cares!!!!

I’m sure there were people that drove by that sign that day and read it and said, “yeah, right. If God cares, why did this happen to me?” or “If God cares, why does it hurt so much?” And just as sure as I am about that, I’m sure there were people who wept after reading it and realizing that God really does care about them.

I wasn’t having a bad day. There wasn’t anything awful happening to me at the time, but it was just a reminder to me that God cares about me. He cares about every little detail in my life. He knows how many hairs are on my head!! I could sit here and pull one out and He would change the figure on His notebook to reflect the change! HE CARES ABOUT ME AND HE CARES ABOUT YOU!!!
