I've been reading Joshua lately. Every time I start to read the Old Testament, I'm surprised by how it always amazes me and how little I know about it.

So, anyway, I'm sitting in bed reading Joshua and about the Battle of Jericho and all of the sudden it came to me. I've been sitting here wondering if God was going to do anything about what was going on in my life while I was reading about Joshua leading his people around and around the walls of Jericho, and with one shout they fell down. God did that! God said march around it once for six days and then on the seventh day march around it seven times and then give one shout and I will deliver the city to you. And they did it. It didn't matter that it seemed like a totally ridiculous request. They did it. They had the FAITH that God was going to deliver the City of Jericho to them, so they listened and followed His lead. AWESOME!!

So rather than wallowing in self-pity, for now I'm just going to be quiet and wait and see what cities God wants me to march around!!
